She writes with honesty and introspection, making an effort to get to the truth about a dynamic or situation with the people in her life. Her musical style highlights her classical sensibilities, pure vocal quality, and the distinctive sound of a nylon-string guitar. We're very excited to be hosting Jenna Nicholls who weaves a spell with her utterly individual tapestry of sound, strumming her ukulele with the spirit of New Orleans or crooning a cowboy’s tale with the soul of the West. Her melodies, like vintage vinyl spun anew, carry the weight of memory and promise of tomorrow.
Jenna has lined things up nicely for her newest release “The Commuter.” The album was produced by Larry Campbell, a former member of Bob Dylan’s band who served as musical director for Levon Helm and performed with Phil Lesh of the Grateful Dead, among others. And “The Commuter” was recorded and mixed by Justin Guip at his Milan Hill Studios in the Hudson Valley.

The more things change, the more they remain the same. For 20 years Valley Stage Productions has presented live music in various settings in northern Chittenden County. “The Valley Stage Music Festival” ran between 2006-2015 in Huntington, VT. A one day event that included national touring artists as well as up and coming regional and local acts took place in a natural amphitheater with Camel’s Hump in the background.
“P.M. Sundays” was held at the Richmond Library and Richmond Congregational Church from 2013-2025. We also produced concerts at the Flynn Space, Higher Ground, the Lane Series and Highland Center for the Arts….whoever would have us.
Beginning this late Summer we’ll be found bringing music primarily into Addison County at Town Hall Theater, and in a few private residences including house concerts (What About Wednesdays?) here in Weybridge. Some performances are ticketed. Some are free.
We hope to introduce you to some promising emerging artists and occasionally bring back some household names and old favorites.
